WaveCore Technology, LLC (WaveCore) was founded by Craig Corsetto in early 2014 and is located in southern Frederick County Maryland, USA. The company was founded on the premise that many companies in the Washington D.C. area need RF/Analog engineering skills to successfully develop products. WaveCore provides the RF, Analog, and RF System design skills to fulfill the needs of our clients when they are required. 

Experience 

Corsetto's background includes positions at Hewlett Packard Corporate Research and Research Development Laboratories in Palo Alto California, Watkins Johnson Company (now DRS Signal Solutions) in Gaithersburg Maryland, and Digital Receiver Technology, Inc. (now a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company) in Germantown Maryland. Design work has focused on RF products but extends to high-speed digital design, geolocation analysis (esp. TDOA), analog design, and limited DSP design and software development.

Digital Receiver Technology (DRT): DRT is a leader in software defined radios in several markets. It is unique in that it develops a wide range of Software Defined Radio (SDR) products and the software applications that run on them. Mr. Corsetto has performed the system design and led the development of several complex and innovative HF and microwave SDR hardware products from concept to production. The most recent product utilized the philosophy of designing one hardware platform (containing RF, DSP, and embedded processing) that supports a wide range of SDR applications, and then utilizing it in a variety of substantially different new products; reducing development time. 

Watkins Johnson (WJ): WJ (previously BAE and Signia IDT, now DRS Signal Solutions) is a leader in RF products. Mr. Corsetto served a variety of roles at WJ as RF engineer, RF Lead, and Project Engineer on a range of aggressive RF products; from the HF spectrum into microwave frequencies. One of those products, a microwave receiver, started the concept of creating one solid core design, and then utilizing it in other products to reduce development costs and schedule. 

Hewlett Packard (HP): HP corporate laboratories was the key source of innovation to be applied to new test equipment products. Mr. Corsetto was a junior engineer involved in varied research efforts as well as developing platforms to demonstration new technologies. His experience includes designing high-speed data multiplexer and demultiplexer, PLL–based clock recovery, synchronous AM demodulation, fractional-N synthesizer, high-speed IR transmitters, and other designs.
