Experience Makes the Difference
WaveCore has more than 25 years of experience in detailed RF and SDR system design & development for government and commercial products. Many of these products have been designed to meet very specific and challenging requirements such as extreme performance metrics, miniature size, low-cost, low-power, complex system interaction, or tightly constrained schedules.
Customer Responsive Electronics Engineering
WaveCore's experience extends to all phases of product design, creation, requirements development and project planning. The customer has the choice of picking the phase where WaveCore is introduced into their development process.
Product System Requirements and Concept Development
WaveCore is able to assume a larger role in our client's product development by helping determine product or subsystem requirements in collaboration with your business development, customers, managers and engineering staff. This could include concept development in collaboration with staff engineers for an electrical interface concept, a mechanical concept for packaging/shielding/environmental, software interaction or the planning of product verification and validation.
RF/Analog Concept Development
RF/Analog concept and detailed design are typically based on a well-defined specification. WaveCore can also precede this effort with lower-level requirements development if desired, then derive interfaces before developing the concept and detailed design.
With the concept designed then reviews would be held and detailed design started. Critical circuits or functions may need to be designed, simulated and/or bread-boarded in advance for risk reduction.
Design Reviews
Experience has proven that design reviews are critical to achieve high product quality, meet schedules and hit development costs. The attendees need the knowledge and experience to properly perform the review; and those capabilities may not always be present within the organization. When that capability is not present then WaveCore can fulfill this critical role.
